Unbelievable, really. I’ve read so many texts that ascertain this fact but not ONE mentioned that somebody had to discover this, and that someone was a woman.
Sure, an artist doesn’t care that when he/she paints or records Sun, writes about it, she/he is actually trying to describe a physical reaction of Hydrogen fusing into Helium. But it’s sure as hell that we wouldn’t be alive without it.
Kudos to those who remembered and now I won’t forget either.
